 30/10/2024 Our day at the school started at 9:10 am. After the morning prayer, we signed the attendance register. We had ensured that discipline was maintained in the school corridors during break hours. We had given notes for the chapter. During P.T hour, we took the students to the playground. Substitution hours were also given where we had engaged student with vocabulary games. During the 3rd hour, there was an essay competition organised by the BSF. The topic was given by the BSF authorities. Many students had participated in the competition. ‘VELICHAM’ session during the last hour, where we made students to read a story from the books given to them from the library. We also helped them to read the difficult words. After finishing, we had asked them to summarise the story which they have read. Classes for today ended at 3:30. We also ensured that the students boarded their respective buses. We signed the attendance register and left the school premises at 3:40 pm.   ...

 Day 23(29/10/2024) Report: St.Antony’s, H.S.S, Valiyathura) We began at 9:15am by signing the attendance register after the morning prayer. We maintained discipline in the corridors during breaks, taught our lessons, and handled substitution periods, providing students with notes.  As part of observing our class, Swapna Ma'am (ENGLISH) came to our school during the 3rd and 4th hour. As usual,during the ‘Velicham’ program in the last hour, we engaged students in activities to enhance their language skills. The day concluded at 3:30pm, after which we ensured students boarded their buses, signed out, and left the school at 3:40 pm.

 28/10/2024 The 22nd day of our school internship program started at 9:10 am. After the morning prayer, we signed the attendance register. As usual,  we ensured discipline in the school corridors during break hours.  We went to our respective classes and taught today’s portion. We also got our substitution hours and we gave notes for the students . During the last hour, which is usually for 'Velicham' the special program,  we gave the students special activities to promote their language learning.  The classes came to an end at 3:45 pm. We made sure that the students boarded their respective buses. Then, we signed the attendance register and left the school premises at 3:55 pm.

25/10/2024 The 21st day of our school internship program started at 9:20 am. After the morning prayer, we signed the attendance register. As usual,  we ensured discipline in the school corridors during break hours. As it was a rainy day, students were less in number. We went to our respective classes and taught today’s portion. We also got our substitution hours and we had asked students to complete their pending notes. During lunch break, HM told us to do make a video for the “HELPING HAND” session. This session focuses on the vocabulary enhancement of the learners. We planned to a word game activity for the students. The “HELPING HAND” session took place during the last hour. The students were very much interested to do the word game activity. We encouraged the students to read the words loudly and clearly.  The classes came to an end at 3:45 pm. 24/10/2024 Today, we reached the school at 9:10 am and had signed the attendance register after the morning prayer.  As usual, we ensured that the discipline was maintained in the corridors during break hours. We went to our respective classes and taught our portions. We were given substitution hours and we managed to give during those hours.  The last hour is for the special program ‘VELICHAM’ and we took classes for the students so that they can improve their language. Do we conducted dictation and made them write on the blackboard. At 3:30 pm, we ensured that the students boarded their respective buses and we left the school premises at 3:40 pm.

 23/10/2024 On the nineteenth day of our teaching practice, we reached the school at 9:10 am and signed the attendance register after the morning prayer. We took the permission from the HM to go to our college to sign the CE. We went and came back to school at 11:50 am. From the 4th hour onwards, we got substitution hours and managed the classes.We also took the students for their physical training.   As usual, the last hour is for the special program ‘VELICHAM’ and we took classes for the students so that they can improve their language. At 3:30 pm, we ensured that the students boarded their respective buses and we left the school premises at 3:40 pm.

18/10/24 The sixteenth day of our teaching practice began at 9 am as today was a very important day. The school had organised ‘YOUTH FESTIVAL 2024-2025’ which was held near the school itself (St.Antony’s Community Hall).  We signed the attendance register at 9:15 am. We were given two duties (one is to write the chest number and the second one is to write the certificates) for H.S students. The programs were divided into two sections: morning and evening. Both HS and HSS students showcase their  amazing talents. Although we had only known our students for a short period of time, we were really proud to see each and everyone one of them who showcased their talents. The audience were teachers, students and parents who supported them whole heartedly. We signed the attendance register and left the school premises at 4:15 pm.

 17/10/2024 The fifteenth day of our school induction program started at 9:05 am as today was assembly day. We had organised the assembly by selecting two students (one for ‘new word’ and the other one for ‘importance of the day’). After the prayer session, we signed the attendance register. We ensured that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors during the break hours. Substitution hours were given  and the students were given time to practice for tomorrow’s “YOUTH FESTIVAL 2024”. We went to our respective classes and taught our portions for the day. The students were very interested. We also gave them notes for the chapter we taught earlier. After the lunch break, we were assigned to write the programme schedule in a chart and we also helped the teachers to organise the programme. Duties were also given to us by the teachers for tomorrow’s event. The national anthem was sung and after that we made sure that the students got into their respective buses.We signed...

 16/10/2024  The fourteenth day of our school induction program started at 9:10 am and we signed the attendance register. Morning prayer  and the classes began at 9:30 am. During the break hours, we selected two students to for tomorrow’s assembly. We gave them a ‘new word’ and ‘importance of the day’. We also helped them to read and practice for the assembly. We ensured that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors during the break hours. We went to our respective classes and taught our portions for the day. The students were very interested and listened attentively. We also have them notes for the chapter we taught earlier. During the last hour, special session ‘VELICHAM’ was there and we gave the students a book to read and dictated a few words in order to enhance their vocabulary. The national anthem was sung and after that we made sure that the students got into their respective buses. We signed the attendance register and left the school premises by 3:4...

 15/10/2024  Our day started at 9:15 am and we signed the attendance register. The choir team sang the morning prayer  and the classes began at 9:30 am. Today, majority of the students were preoccupied with their works which they brought for the exhibition. We ensured that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors during the break hours. As usual, we were given substitution hours and we gave the students some activities. We went to our respective classes and taught our portions for the day. The students were very interested and listened attentively . During the last two hours, students were taken to view the exhibition. The exhibition was filled with a number of chart works, still models and working model. From this we understood that the students were talented in their own areas of work.   14/10/2024  Our day started at 9:10 am and we signed the attendance register. Morning prayer was sung and the classes began at 9:30 am. We ensured that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors during the break hours. As usual, we were given substitution hours and we gave the students some activities that would enhance their vocabulary skills. We went to our respective classes and taught our portions for the day. The students were very interested  and listened attentively . We had also helped the students for exhibition which is to be conducted tomorrow.  We also made sure that the students got into their respective buses. We signed the attendance register and left the school premises by 3:40 pm.

 (10/10/2024)    The eleventh day of our school internship began at 9:00 am.  We signed the attendance register and as it was Thursday, there was a common assembly which was held in the school ground. We were in-charge for conducting the assembly. We made sure the discipline was maintained throughout the assembly. After that we went to our respective classes and taught our portions.  We were also given the duty to check the writing competitions held at the library hall.  At 3:30 the classes were over and we made sure that the students got into their buses.  We signed the attendance register and left the school premises by 3:45pm.

 Day 10 - 09/10/2024 Today marked the tenth day of our school internship program. The day started at 9:10 am as we reached the school premises. Morning prayer was sung at 9:25 am and we signed the attendance register. We also ensured that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors. We went to our assigned classes, taught our portions. During the sixth hour, teacher gave us duty to check the drawing and painting competitions being conducted in the library. As usual, we were alloted to our resources ‘ VELICHAM’ classes. Lastly, we were asked to do a short program for tomorrow’s assembly. We selected a student for reading Thought for the day’.  At 3:30,classes were over and we made sure that the students got into their buses. We signed the register and left the school premises at 3:45 pm.

 08/10/2024- DAY 9  We reached the school by 9:00 am and signed the register. We were assigned for substitution hours and utilised it for conducting Subject based activity. Class 8th was chosen for this activity. The students actively participated. As usual, the last hour was ‘VELICHAM’ session and we handled the classes. At 3:30pm, we  signed the attendance register and left the school premises.

 07/10/2024  The eighth day of our training session started at 9:10 am and we signed the attendance register.Substitution periods were given to us  in the 2nd hour. Almost 4 periods were assigned as substitution hours.We also made sure that the discipline was maintained by the students in the school corridors. And we went to our respective classes to teach our portions.  During the last hour, we were assigned to “VELICHAM” classes where we made students to write dictated words in order to enhance their vocabulary. We had left the school premises at 3:45pm after signing the attendance register.

During the break hours we made sure that the discipline had been maintained in the school corridors. We went to our respective classes and taught our portions. We were also given substitution hours where we gave activities and the students actively participated. There was a cleaning session during the last hour where students of class 8th and 9th were asked to clean the school premises under the supervision of their class teachers. We were also included in the supervision. Classes came to an end at 3:45 pm. We checked whether students got into their respective buses and we left the school premises at 3:55 pm after signing the attendance register.

  DATE: 03/10/2024 Today was our sixth day of School Internship. We reached the school at 9.10 am and signed the attendance register. The bell rang for the morning prayer at 9:30 am. We went to our assigned classes. Substitution hours was also there. We ensured the discipline was maintained in the corridors during the break time. Noon meal was served to the students. Last hour of every day is set aside for a special teaching program named , ‘ VELICHAM’ in which the students are divided on the basis of their level of learning and given special support in the areas where needed.   Day 5 (01/10/2024) Report of School Internship (St.Antony’s H.S.S, Valiyathura) The fifth day started at 9:10 am and we signed the attendance register. At 9:20 am, prayer had begun and classes VIII to X had assembled in the front porch for the special assembly along with Gandhi Jayanthi program. After that, prizes for the winners (Sports day) were given out by the HM. Classes began from the 2nd hour. We made sure of the discipline that is to be maintained in the school corridors.  We went to our respective classes and taught our portions. We had also engaged the students with activities that would enrich their vocabulary. The day at the school came to an end at 3:30pm, and we made sure that the students entered their respective buses and we left the school premises at 3:40 pm.
