22/11/2024 Today, marks the last day of our first phase of teaching practice. We reached the school premises at 9:00 am. We signed the attendance register after the morning prayer.   During breaks hours, we ensured that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors. There was a surprise visit from the DO as well as from our beloved teachers Swapna ma’am and Betty ma’am. They had signed our lessons plans, gave us advice and support and wished us luck for the next phase of teaching practice which is going to start on Monday(22/11/24). We got our substitution hours where we gave notes for the chapters we taught. After the national anthem at 3:45 pm, we ensured that the students boarded their respective buses. We signed the attendance register and left the school premises at 4:00 pm.

21/11/24 Our day at the school started at 9:10 am. We signed the attendance register after the morning prayer. We ensured that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors during the break hours. We were also given substitution hours where we had conducted our ‘Conscientization program’ based on Environment and Climate Change’.  After the lunch break, we were invited to the H.S.S section as judges to evaluate a skit competition that was organised by the students of class XI. The theme was to create awareness about the use of drugs and the misuse of social media in teenagers and how it would affect the young minds and family.  During that time, we had a surprise visit from our Principal, Lidson Sir. He checked on us and he gave us support and has asked us about our progress in the school internship program. We signed the attendance register and left the school premises at 4:10pm.

20/11/2024 Our day started at 9:00 am. After the morning prayer, we signed the attendance register. We were given duty as invigilators for Second Mid term examinations. We were also given substitution periods where we took the students for the games. We also gave notes and had taught our portions. As usual, we ensured that strict discipline was maintained in the school corridors during the break hours.  After the national anthem, we signed the attendance register and left the school premises at 3:40pm.

19/11/2024 I reached the school at 9:00 am and signed the attendance register after the morning prayer. As usual,discipline was strictly followed in the corridors during break hours. I also had invigilation duty for exams during the 3rd  and 4th periods and handled substitution hours due to teacher absences, providing notes and teaching portions. At the end of the day in the school, I assisted with lining up students for buses after the national anthem. I signed the attendance register and left the premises at 3:40 pm.

18/11/2024 (Jini was on leave) I reached the school premises at 9:10 am. The morning prayer was sung at 9:30 and afterwards I signed the attendance register. I ensured that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors during the break hours. The students were having their exams during the 4th and 5th hour. I also had invigilator duty in one of the exam rooms.  Substitution hours were given as a few teachers were on leave. I gave notes and had taught my portions. After the national anthem, I had lined up the students to board their respective buses. I signed the attendance register and left the school premises at 3:40 pm.

15/11/2024 Our day started at 9:10 am. After the morning prayer, we signed the attendance register. We were given duty as invigilators for Second Mid term examinations.The exams were over at 12:30pm. Classes for today ended at 12:30pm as the Government had declared half day leave because of the commencement of Vettucaud Feast. After the national anthem, we signed the attendance register and  made sure that the students entered into their respective buses and left the school premises at 12:45 pm.

14/11/24 Our day started at 9:00 and we signed the attendance register. As part of Children’s Day celebration, the assembly was organised by the teachers. The teachers organised their programs like quiz and a song for their students. After the assembly, we distributed chocolates to our students. They were surprised and happy. We were given duty as invigilators for Second Mid-term examinations. As usual, we had ensured that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors.  During the 5th hour, paayasam was served to the students on this special day. We went to respective classes and asked the students to study for tomorrow’s exam.  Classes for today ended at 3:30pm. We also ensured that the students boarded their respective buses. We signed the attendance register and left the school premises at 3:45 pm.

13/11/2024   Our day started at 9:10 am and we signed the attendance register. The choir team sang the morning prayer and the classes began at 9:30 am. We ensured that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors.  Today was the first day of second mid term examination. The students were asked to move to their allotted classes and the examination began at 11:00am. As there were two exams for the day, it ended at 12:30 pm. We went to our respective classes and had revised the chapters as they have their English exam tomorrow. The students paid much attention to the revision classes. We had also made some preparations for tomorrow’s Children’s Day celebration.  We also made sure that the students got into their respective buses. We signed the attendance register and left the school premises at 3:50 pm.

12/11/2024 The 31st day of our school internship program started at 9:10 am. We signed the attendance register after the morning prayer. We ensured that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors. We decided to do the ‘Sociometry’ test today. We have chosen VIII B for conducting the test. The test was conducted well and we got good  responses from the students. We went for substitution hours. We also went to our respective classes and taught our portions for the day. The notes for the previous chapter were also given to the students. After the national anthem at 3:30pm, we made sure that the students had boarded their respective buses. We signed the attendance register and left the school premises at 3:45pm.

 11/11/2024 Today, we reached the school premises at 9:10 am. After the morning prayer, we signed the attendance register. For the first hour itself, we got our substitution periods. Both of us managed to go to the classes where the students were asked to complete their pending works. We also took the students to the playground. As usual, we ensured that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors. We went to our respective classes and taught our portions for the day.The students were very interested. We also gave them notes for the chapter we taught earlier. The national anthem was sung and after that we made sure that the students got into their respective buses. We signed the attendance register and left the school premises at 3:50 pm.

 06/11/2024 The 28th day of our teaching practice session started at 9:10 am. After the morning prayer, we signed the attendance register. We ensured that the discipline was maintained in the corridors during the break hours. We got substitution hours where we asked the students to complete their pending works. We went to our respective classes, taught portions and gave notes to the students. During the lunch break, a teacher told us to make one or two students ready for their Radio Club Program ‘SARGAVANI’. The program is to be conducted on Friday. We were also given some time to look after the practice session of the students for the youth festival. As usual, we were given duty to go the ‘VELICHAM’ classes and we taught them to improve their language skills. The classes for the day ended at 3:30 pm. We ensured that the students boarded their respective buses. We signed the attendance register and left the school premises at 3:45pm

 05/11/2024 Today, we reached the school at 9:10 am and had signed the attendance register after the morning prayer. We were given charge to look after the practice sessions that is being held for the state youth festival competition. As usual, we ensured that the discipline was maintained in the corridors during the break hours. We went to our respective classes and taught our portions. We were given substitution hours and we made the students to write something about a topic that we gave in the class. The last hour, as usual, is for the special program ‘VELICHAM’ and we took classes for the students so that they can improve their language skills.  At 3:30pm, we ensured that the students boarded their respective buses. We signed the attendance register and we left the school premises at 3:45pm.

 4/11/2024 Our 26th day of school internship began at 9:00 am with special assembly where a few BSF authorities came to the school to distribute the prizes for the winners of the essay writing competition conducted on the previous day. We signed the register after the assembly and went for teaching our portions and gave notes. We were also provided with substitution hours. During the break hours, we made sure that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors. We also made sure that the students boarded their respective buses . We signed the attendance register and left the school premises by 3:50 pm.

01/11/2024 The 25th day of our school induction program started at 9:10 am. There was a special assembly as to celebrate ‘Kerala Piravi’. The students presented programs and a quiz was also held. After this, we signed the attendance register. We taught our portions in our respective classes.We had also ensured that the discipline was maintained in the school corridors.  As it was Friday, the national anthem was sung at 3:45 pm. We made sure that the students had boarded their respective buses. We signed the attendance register and left the school premises at 3:50 pm.
