END OF SECOND PHASE - LAST DAY OF TEACHING PRACTICE
Date : 05/02/2025
My teaching practice experience at St. Antony’s H.S.S, Valiyathura, was overall a good one, but it came with its fair share of struggles. Being in a real classroom setting allowed me to apply the theories I had learned, but the practical challenges were often overwhelming. While I enjoyed teaching and interacting with the students, I found that keeping them engaged and ensuring smooth lesson delivery was not always easy. Despite the difficulties, I tried my best to adapt to the situation and improve my teaching methods over time.
One of the biggest challenges I faced was poor classroom management. Maintaining discipline and keeping the students attentive proved to be much harder than I had anticipated. There were moments when the class became too noisy, and I struggled to regain control. Though I attempted different strategies, such as using a firm voice and interactive activities, they did not always work as expected. However, this experience made me more aware of the importance of classroom management skills, and I realized that it takes time, patience, and experience to develop effective techniques.
Overall, I had the support of my parents, teachers of St. Antony's H.S.S, Valiyathura.
